Fiona and Nicky Smith are both fully qualified and highly experienced practitioners, who work sensitively and skillfully with a variety of disciplines. One-off sessions are available, though if you wish to work through a particular issue or receive therapy for a specific problem, a minimum of 3 sessions is initially recommended in order to give your body the time and space to undergo a process of deeper change both physically and energetically. Traditional Thai Massage |
Thai Massage or Thai Yoga Massage is a holistic practice which views the body as an alive system of energy which, when out of balance creates 'dis-ease'. It combines the use of gentle yoga based stretcheswith sensitive acupressure creating a powerful tool for well-being and transformation. The treatment is given through loose comfortable clothing lying on a futon on the floor. Thai Massage with herbs is also available. Sessions last between 90mins & 2hours. |

Zero Balancing |
Zero Balancing is a gentle yet powerful way of balancing body energy with body structure. Z.B. is one of the few forms of bodywork which works directly with the bones and the foundation joints, acknowledging the bone as flexible tissue which changes, listens and responds to events in our lives. "Bone holds our deepest and oldest memories, it reacts to joy or shock, breathes and fails to breathe. Diet, trauma, work, and sensory stimulation all profoundly affect the growth and quality of our bones. Bone carries the imprint of all that we do, and of where we have been" It is by working with the bone and the energy flow within it that Z.B. effectively helps to release deeply and chronically held tensions in the physical, mental and emotional bodies. During the course of the session the client remains fully clothed and lies on their back on a treatment couch. 'The practitioner uses finger pressure and held stretches to provide points of stillness around which the body can intelligently release deeply held tension, offering us a new level of experience and integration' |

Integrative Massage |
Integrative Massage can be given through loose comfortable clothing or with the use of oil. It incorporates deep tissue techniques with more subtle energy work of pulsing, holding and opening the joints with gentle and acupressure. Integrative massage sessions can be deeply relaxing and soothing or stimulating and energising fundamentally aiming to bring about a sense of wholeness and reconnection |

Yoga |

Yoga is a wonderful practice which leads the body, breath and mind to a place of balance. Learn how to relax and undo tension, explore fuller movement and breath and experience inner peace, stillness and freedom. If you are new to yoga or would like to re-establish a solid foundation to your practice then a series of 1-2-1 classes is ideal.
