 Nicky & Fiona Smith are sisters who  have spent over the past 10 years  exploring and learning about the wisdom of the bodymind. In recent years they have come together to found Bodywisdom, a forum for teaching, research & learning.

They are both registered accredited advanced  practitioners & teachers of Traditional Thai Massage with the Sunshine Network,THAI & EMBODY

 Fiona (rtt.itec.thai.ctha) Having worked in education and publishing in Spain for 9 years, Fiona made a life change in 2001 and began her studies in Thai massage, Yoga and meditation. She has also studied Nutrition with CNN in the UK and has regularly worked with Jiva Healing on their Detox Retreats. In her role as therapist and teacher, she also incorporates her knowledge of Craniosacral Therapy and Reiki in her work.

Having been very physical in my life for the past 7 years, I have found the combination of bodywork, yoga & massage teaching and coaching people towards achieving their goals is a very satisfying and fulfilling balance which feeds into everything!"

Image Nicky (bmtdip.itec,ctha.zbauk)has extensive experience in the field of  bodywork & movement.  Her interest in physical theatre and improvisation led to a study of intergrative massage and over the past 10 years her studies have continued in Thai Massage, Deep Bodywork, Zero Balancing and Yoga & Movement. Nicky has worked with a wide variety of clients of all ages; from babies to the elderly and with all abilities; from yoga teachers to those with severe physical and mental disabilities.

Before moving to Hastings, she was part of North London's Triyoga Clinic, was a therapist and teacher at The Disabilty Foundation in Stanmore Orthopeidc Hospital. In addition to her teaching and private clients she also delivers Life Skills training sessions to businesses and is developing her bodywork programme alongside an Equine Assisted Learning programme for use with young people and special needs groups within the community. Her first book, Thai Massage is publishd by Lorenz
